What is Massage Therapy?
Massage therapy involves the manipulation of soft tissues of the body to improve blood flow, and help reduce muscle tension and pain. It has a therapeutic effect on the body and optimizes health and well-being by acting on muscular, nervous and circulatory systems. Our massage therapists have training in a variety of techniques and will discuss the specific needs of your therapy plan as determined through assessment and health history.

Martina Hungerbuehler, RMT
Martina enjoys customizing treatments and practical homecare strategies for clients to increase their quality of life. She uses a multitude of techniques to treat conditions/injuries like sports and repetitive strain injuries, headaches/migraines, stress related injuries, acute and chronic conditions, along with everyday aches and pains. Incorporating deep tissue massage, general Swedish massage, myofascial release, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), trigger point therapy, and cupping therapy.
Daniela Iliescu, RMT
Daniela is a graduate of the massage therapy program at Medix College and has been a member of the CMTO and RMTAO since 2013. Daniela has worked with athletes and body builders, office workers, children and pre/post-natal patients. Because of this, her style of massage varies depending on her clients and their needs. She uses a therapeutic approach and enjoys performing deep tissue massage when tolerated, but can also treat with light and moderate pressure using general Swedish massage techniques for relaxation massage. Some of her skills also include treating musculoskeletal conditions and concerns like sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, piriformis syndrome, facet joint irritation, TMJ issues, headaches, migraines and general muscle tension. She also has her cupping certificate.
Stephanie Zadorozniak, RMT
Stephanie graduated from Humber College in 2018 with an advanced diploma in Massage Therapy. She is a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and is an active member of the Registered Massage Therapist Association of Ontario (RMTAO).
She employs specialized deep tissue, myofascial techniques, trigger point therapy, and joint mobilizations in addition to the usual Swedish massage techniques used for common musculoskeletal issues. She has experience with many chronic and acute ailments needing specific tailored treatment planning. Additionally, Stephanie is available to provide care with any pregnancy/prenatal and perinatal issues our clients face.
